Job Post: Service and Warranty Manager

Overview:

As a Service & Warranty Manager, you will serve as the liaison between Remote Vans and its dealership partners and customers, taking full ownership of the warranty lifecycle for our vans. You will be responsible for receiving and authorizing warranty requests from dealers and interfacing with dealers, customers, and suppliers to coordinate the fulfillment of all authorized requests. 

The Job:

  • $45,000 to $60,000/year based on experience
  • Working Hours: 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday with some weekend hours required
  • Remote Vans provides ample PTO, and health insurance – covering up to 100% of each employee.

General Responsibilities include such things as:

  • Adhere to warranty-related policies and procedures, providing feedback to Remote Vans executive team as needed
  • Manage Dealer warranty processes, claims, and daily warranty operations
  • Maintain relationships with Dealer Sales & Warranty Managers
  • Liaise and collaborate with dealers, customers, and suppliers to address and resolve warranty-related issues
  • Analyze and evaluate warranty data and claims to determine validity, accuracy, and eligibility
  • Inspect defective products and other issues by gathering relevant data
  • Manage and monitor warranty databases to maintain accurate records
  • Produce regular reports and analyses on warranty claims and performance metrics
  • Research and identify opportunities and strategies for efficient warranty claims processing
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with warranty policies and standards
  • Provide guidance, leadership, and training to internal and dealer technicians on warranty processes, as needed
  • Monitor and ensure customer satisfaction with warranty service
  • Collaborate with executive team, quality assurance, and design/engineering teams on identifying and resolving recurring issues
  • Stay updated on developments and innovations in the warranty industry
  • Support and adhere to all system and company procedures
  • Contribute to the overall success of the Production Team by co-elevating with all team members through collaboration, cooperation, and camaraderie
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • RV Industry experience highly preferred
  • Minimum three (3) years’ warranty administration experience preferred
  • Must exhibit professionalism, be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude, work well with others, and have excellent time management and follow-up skills
  • Strong proficiency in Google Workspace
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and practices
