Role: Inventory Control Manager.
Location: On-site, Cincinnati, Ohio.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Inventory Control Manager, with a passion for meticulous planning and organization, with a talent for stock control and reporting.
As the Inventory Control Manager, you will ensure our van assembly line is operating at peak efficiency by ensuring each station is perfectly resourced with the correct tools, parts and materials daily.
You will be the lead for all inventory management – recording all inventory into Netsuite, as well as recording all issued parts. You will be primary on all stock taking, management and reporting.
The Inventory Control Manager will work directly with the Financial Control and Operations Manager to ensure all stations are fully resourced at all times, with parts ordered with sufficient lead times to avoid any assembly line down time. This role will report to the Chief Operating Officer.
Education & Skills:
- 3-5 Years of successful experience as an Inventory Control Manager, preferably in the RV Industry.
- Familiarity with MS Office and G Suite
- In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures and legal standards, including RVIA
- 3-5 years experience using Netsuite.
General Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of RV products and manufacturing processes is required
- Package, load, unload, check and verify incoming and outgoing shipments of materials, products, and supplies
- Load received inventory into ERP (Netsuite)
- Control all daily issuing of parts to stations, record all inventory booked out.
- Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the company’s database & analytical tools to improve inventory management information, systems and procedures
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds frequently
- Collaborate with Operations Manager and Financial Controller on stock taking, reporting, as well as ordering new inventory.
- Collaborate with Quality Control Manager and Warranty Manager for timely servicing of Dealer Partners.
- Ship customer orders via USPS, UPS and LTL
- This position is a full-time position, which may require some flexibility in hours and days worked
