Overview:
At Remote Vans, we take pride in building awesome camper vans!
We’re looking for a Junior Van Electrical Technician to join our electrical team (fondly referred to as the Lightning Division). This is a great opportunity for someone with 1-2 years’ electrical experience who is interested in learning more about the automotive electrical field.
Responsibilities:
- Build and install wiring looms to code (internal and external)
- Wire AC & DC components: relays, switches, inverters, lights, hydronic heaters, plugs
- Ensure electrical systems and components are built to regulation standards
- Install external lighting, awnings and external electrical accessories
- Electrical troubleshooting
- Support and adhere to all system and company procedures
- Contribute to the overall success of the company by working with all team members through collaboration, cooperation, and camaraderie
- All other duties as assigned
- May require 1 to 2-day travel on occasion
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years’ electrical / electrician experience
Qualifications/Skills:
Aptitude for learning new things quickly, high level of attention to detail, good problem solver, strong communication skills, active listener, juggler of many tasks simultaneously well, patient, emotionally intelligent, and a team player.
Work Schedule:
- Operating hours are generally 7am – 3:30pm, M-F
