Role: Quality Control Manager.

Remote Vans LLC is looking for an energetic, skilled individual to join our team as Quality Control Manager.
We’re seeking a Quality Control Manager with > 3 years demonstrated experience in the RV / Auto / Boat industry preferable.
This individual is proactive, enthusiastic and eager to become part of the Remote Vans team.
Education & Skills:
- 2 Years of successful experience as a Quality Assurance Manager in the RV industry
- Familiarity with MS Office and G Suite
- Advantage: Prior experience working at an automotive manufacturer.
- In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures and legal standards, including RVIA
- 2 years work experience with Solidworks is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- This position will be a hands-on QA Manager supervising the production process while meeting predetermined quality RVIA standards for the construction of safer RV’s
- Training and managing production line staff in production practices and quality assessment of goods
- Tracking products through the manufacturing process to guarantee that each part of the process is correct
- Develop and implement methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and production equipment
- Perform safety inspection of all components & systems and ensure that products adhere to quality standards
- In-depth knowledge of RVIA codes and legal standards
- Will need to follow the six standards developed by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)
- Provide a wide variety of interior/exterior repairs to units, i.e.; diagnose, inspect, adjust and perform repairs and parts/component replacements on units in a timely manner
- Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing summarizing data
- Working according to deadlines for the delivery of products
- Preforming detailed testing of products and inspections of final products
- Document results of testing and inspection so that products are up to industry and company standards
- Eliminating products that are not up to standards and finding the reasons for product problems
- May provide training to apprentices/lesser skilled technicians
- Develop and implement processes designed to identify, correct, and eliminate product defects (test, inspection, RCCA/8D, work design, etc.)
- Ensure our processes and procedures are documented within our Quality Manual
- Develop and motivate a strong team with bench strength by attracting and developing people
- Lead, supervise, and support online Quality Control Managers
- Determine and attain staffing levels and training requirements to achieve quality objectives
- Regularly participate in product audits
- Regularly participate in Product Development meetings
- Develop strong working relationships with Plant Managers and Product Managers
- Refine and execute effective quality performance reporting tools
- Ensure warranty reports are created and analyzed to direct appropriate efforts to minimize warranty
- Collaborate with Codes and Offline PDI to maximize the overall effectiveness of our processes
