Let’s go boating! We’ve got another story from the road (and lake!) featuring some of our favorite Rolling Nomads, Micky, Carinn, and their trusty sidekick Buddy.

They recently took Remote Vans Aegis™ Series #036 on an epic journey to Elk Lake in Bend, Oregon. And let’s just say, Remote Vans and Boats go together like peanut butter and jelly.

Micky is a big fan of the Aegis™ Series, especially its suspension and full skid plates, which makes navigating Oregon’s rugged terrain a breeze. “The Aegis handled the mountains and rough roads like a champ,” Micky shared. “We discovered some amazing new spots that we wouldn’t have reached with any other vehicle.”

But it’s not just about the mechanics—the Aegis™ Series offers comfort and convenience too. Carinn loves the Vanhalla™ swivel seat, perfect for soaking in breathtaking views of their favorite sites. And of course, Buddy was along for the ride, because what’s an adventure without your furry best friend?

“When we travel, good music, tasty food, and refreshing drinks are non-negotiable,” Micky laughs. “And Buddy? Well, he’s a travel necessity too. He’s part of our crew and enjoys every moment with us.”

Remote Vans isn’t just about getting from point A to point B—it’s about enhancing the journey. Having a large fresh water tank keeps them going for longer and offers them the ability to comfortably camp in more remote areas. Micky and Carinn are living their best van life.

Thanks to the Aegis™ Series great off-road capability, it’s awesome to be able to take your boat to less crowded spots to launch. So here’s to Micky, Carinn, Buddy, and their unforgettable Oregon adventure in Aegis Series #036. Whether you’re exploring the wilderness or kicking back by the lake, a Remote Van is an awesome companion for every adventure.

The Aegis™ Series is the ultimate adventure van for the “work, play, travel … anywhere lifestyle!” With features and specs that enable you to get off-grid for longer with more power, comfort and connectivity than ever before. Learn more about this premium, class B Sprinter van
