Remote Vans Opens New 30,000 ft² Production Facility in Cincinnati.
Cincinnati, USA, January 30, 2024 — Remote Vans, an industry-leading, RVIA accredited, class B, RV manufacturer renowned for advanced technologies and premium van builds, has recently opened its brand new, 30,000 ft² van conversion facility in Cincinnati, OH.
Starting out in a historic, brewery building on Moore Street in Over-the-Rhine in 2021, Remote Vans has come a long way since delivering on their first order for a superior adventure van. Fast forward 3 years and the company now calls a 30,000 ft² van conversion facility home. With ample space, the facility offers the company the ability to scale to meet growing demand for their adventure vans.
“We worked on renovating our new factory for over 8 months to make every aspect of it perfect for the needs of our rapidly growing company. Remote Vans now has the foundation to accommodate the scale we’ve been building towards and this is a key step for the entire team,” said Tony Alexander, CEO, Remote Vans.
Thanks to intensive renovations which included extensive cleaning and new paintwork, laying down new floors, creating demarcated workspaces and revamping office space, the former steel factory appeared almost unrecognizable on moving day.
The new facility boasts a production line that accommodates up to 20 vans at a time, testing and wash areas, dedicated space for carpentry, upholstery, metalwork and soft goods, and office space and meeting rooms. To speed up production timelines, considerable investment has also been made into specialist carpentry equipment, a spray booth, vehicle suspension lifts, CNC Router Machines and a soft goods department.
“It was clear we had outgrown the space and after becoming self-certified experts in juggling vans, we needed to find a new facility to accommodate our growth,” says Daryn Hillhouse, COO, Remote Vans. “In our new facility, we have a seamless production line, and have brought certain key skills in-house to speed up build time and increase the quality of our builds even further.”
With a growing team, a new facility, and several exciting developments in the pipeline, the Remote Vans team is looking forward to 2024.
