Founded during the days of the COVID-19 pandemic, Remote Vans was born from a desire for freedom, adventure, and a better work-life balance. Co-founder Daryn Hillhouse recalls the early days of lockdown when a bowl of pasta and a moment of inspiration led to the birth of the company: “Like most entrepreneurs, you can’t keep us caged for long. We knew there had to be a way to travel, work, and live life without the constraints of the typical 9-to-5 grind. And that’s when the idea of building a van that could truly offer a WORK – PLAY – TRAVEL lifestyle came to life.”
