Remote Vans Appoints Co-Founder Daryn Hillhouse as Chief Executive Officer

Cincinnati, OH, November 4, 2025  – Remote Vans, an RVIA accredited manufacturer of premium adventure vans, today announced the appointment of Daryn Hillhouse as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Hillhouse, who co-founded the company alongside Tony Alexander, will officially assume day-to-day leadership on November 3, 2025.

As a founder, Hillhouse has been instrumental in the design and development of Remote Vans’ product line and is the driving force behind the company’s zero compromise quality standards that have set it apart in the Class B RV market. He has led the development of Remote Vans’ production infrastructure, pioneered its proprietary manufacturing methods and personally designed a number of the company’s patent pending features.

As we look toward the future, Daryn is best positioned to lead the company to further scale while maintaining the level of quality and reputation we have established in the industry,” said co-founder Tony Alexander. “Building vans is in Daryn’s blood. I cannot think of anyone more capable, qualified or suited to lead Remote Vans boldly into the next phase of its growth.”

From brewery floor to industry leader

Remote Vans began in a small unused brewery in Cincinnati when two founders set out to create an adventure van that would let people work, play and travel anywhere. The early team was small and learned every step the hard way with no prior RV building experience. Dedication, mastery of craft and attention to detail shaped the company from day one.

Today Remote Vans operates a state-of-the-art production facility in St. Bernard, with a Tesla-esque approach of vertical integration to its assembly line with team members cross-trained across disciplines such as cabinetry, electrical, plumbing and upholstery. The company offers a range of Class B premium adventure vans, including the T-45, Friday, Oasis and Aegis Series through dealerships coast-to-coast across the USA.

A leader defined by adventure and excellence

A British Army veteran turned entrepreneur, Hillhouse built a career around adventure, innovation and community. Before Remote Vans, he launched The Put Foot Rally, a celebrated overlanding event that takes participants through South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi and Mozambique on a safari style journey of exploration and purpose. Through its charitable arm, the Put Foot Foundation, the rally has donated over 60,000 pairs of new school shoes to children in need across Southern Africa and supported anti poaching initiatives protecting endangered wildlife.

Adventure demands courage, resilience and commitment, qualities that I bring into every part of Remote Vans,” said Hillhouse. “As CEO, my focus is on scaling responsibly while strengthening our position in the growing Class B market. I am fortunate to be surrounded by an exceptional team whose dedication and expertise will continue driving innovation, quality and the next phase of growth for Remote Vans.”

Looking ahead

As Remote Vans moves into 2026, the company is focused on expanding its dealer and service network, strengthening support for its growing community of Rolling Nomads and continuing to deliver industry leading craftsmanship and customer experience. Remote Vans will also make its appearance at the 2026 Florida RV Supershow in Tampa, the premier destination to see the latest RV models and innovations for the new year.
