In their own words, this couple, “takes working remotely, quite literally!” They’ve embraced the work-from-van life and are working and travelling across the pacific north west in an Oasis Series.
The idea for their van-life journey began during lockdown. Stuck inside, they avidly researched vans, watched van life enthusiasts on Youtube and scoured the Internet for all things van-related. .
The lockdowns eventually eased and they wondered with the flexibilty of remote work, why not swap work-from-home, for work-from-van? They then began their search for a van. The couple made the call within a few weeks, they arrived in Cincinnati to drive their dream van back to San Francisco. This couple’s Sprinter van is equipped with all the necessities and then some. They have kitted Oasis 002 to be the perfect place to get work done, enjoy some down time on Nintendo and even air-fry a dinner or two.
They’ve kitted their office setup with a standing desk, as well as two screens to keep them connected to their jobs, clients and meetings. They often find themselves working from their van, especially when they travel in the winter months.
Oasis 002 is a 2022 Remote Vans build, that features an open layout with a queen size bed at the rear and a kitchenette at the front. The kitchen galley includes all stainless steel appliances, including a fridge, microwave and even an induction cooktop.
They also have an outdoor shower, which they say is great for washing off after hiking or swimming in a lake!
