Overview:
As an Inventory Specialist you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring the availability of products, and minimizing overstock and stockouts. The role involves monitoring inventory transactions, conducting regular cycle counts, and implementing inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels and support the overall supply chain process.

The Job
- $17-$20/hour + Performance Bonuses
- Working Hours: 7:00am to 3:30pm: Monday to Friday
- Remote Vans provides ample PTO, and health insurance – covering up to 100% of each employee.
General Responsibilities include such things as:
Inventory Management:
- Monitor and maintain current inventory levels; track orders, deliveries, and returns.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventory counts.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and inventory records.
- Report inventory levels and adjustments to management.
Inventory Control:
- Develop and implement effective inventory control procedures.
- Work closely with purchasing to ensure accurate inventory replenishment.
- Manage stock locations and storage areas to maximize space efficiency.
- Ensure the proper labeling and organization of inventory items.
Data Management:
- Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions.
- Utilize inventory management software to monitor stock levels and generate reports.
- Update and maintain item master data, including part numbers, descriptions, and stock levels.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
 Quality Control:
- Inspect inventory for defects, damages, and expiration dates.
- Coordinate with the quality assurance team to manage non-conforming products.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in inventory storage and handling.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the purchasing, production, and sales teams to forecast demand and plan inventory needs.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure efficient picking, packing, and shipping processes.
- Assist in the development and training of staff on inventory management procedures.
 Continuous Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and inventory management technologies.
- Support and adhere to all system and company procedures
- Contribute to the overall success of the Production Team by co-elevating with all team members through collaboration, cooperation, and camaraderie

Qualifications/Skills:
- Aptitude for learning new things quickly, high level of attention to detail, good problem solver, strong communication skills, active listener, juggler of many tasks simultaneously well, patient, emotionally intelligent, and a team player.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- Inventory management software experience (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, etc.)
- Forklift experience
